Breast augmentation with 375 cc silicone gel breast implants. This patient had a significant deformity preop from severe mastitis after her pregnancy. Breast gland hypertrophy after pregnancy, lactation and subsequent atrophy or involution of the breast tissue can result in significant deformity. Mastitis, or an infection of the breast milk duct system can make things even worse. This patient required significant release of deep scar of the inferior pole - almost like a tuberous breast. She also needed release for a retracted nipple and areola revision
