From Dr. Lampert:
Face & Neck Lift with Facial Fat Grafting. 2 Months Post Op:
When skin laxity is an issue, an improved cervicomental angle and jawline contour is best achieved with surgery. Cervico = neck. Mental = chin. The cervicomental angle is formed by the horizontal plane of the submental region and the vertical plane of the neck. Here this angle has been better defined with a High SMAS facelift and an open corset platysmaplasty.
Removal of fat deep to the neck muscles and shaving of the submandibular glands was also performed prior to tightening the sheet-like neck muscle called the platysma.
Fat was grafted to the face, tear troughs, temples, nasolabial folds, jawline and malar regions. Scars along her occipital and temporal scalp, behind her ear and tragus, and along her ascending helix will continue to fade and soften over the year.
